A24’s ‘Minari’ gets a new trailer.

The first trailer for the critically lauded Sundance hit, Minari has now landed.

The film is a tender and sweeping story about what roots us as it follows a Korean-American family that moves to a tiny Arkansas farm in search of their own American Dream. The family home changes completely with the arrival of their sly, foul-mouthed, but incredibly loving grandmother. Amidst the instability and challenges of this new life in the rugged Ozarks, Minari shows the undeniable resilience of family and what really makes a home.

The film has already won the Grand Jury Prize and the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival and is split between the Korean and English language.

Written/directed by Lee Isaac Chung, the film stars Steven Yeun, Yeri Han, Alan Kim, Noel Kate Cho, and Yuh-Jung Youn.

Minari currently has no definite release date but it is set to land before the 2021 Academy Awards’ eligibility deadline.
