IFC Films have dropped a new trailer for Mainstream, starring Andrew Garfield and Maya Hawke.
A young woman (Maya Hawke) thinks she’s found a path to internet stardom when she starts making YouTube videos with a charismatic stranger (Andrew Garfield) – until the dark side of viral celebrity threatens to ruin them both.
Written and directed by Gia Coppola, the film also stars Kalena Yiaueki, Nat Wolff, Johnny Knoxville and Jason Schwartzman.
Mainstream opens in US theaters and on VOD from May 7th, 2021.
