Netflix have just dropped the new trailer for the Benedict Cumberbatch headlined The Power of the Dog.
Charismatic rancher Phil Burbank inspires fear and awe in those around him. When his brother brings home a new wife and her son, Phil torments them until he finds himself exposed to the possibility of love.
Written and directed by Jane Campion, based on the novel of the same name by Thomas Savage, the film also stars Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Thomasin McKenzie, Genevieve Lemon, Keith Carradine, and Frances Conroy.
The Power of the Dog, after doing the festival rounds as well as having a limited theatrical release, will land on Netflix from December 1, 2021.
