Netflix have dropped a new trailer for their upcoming new film The Dig.
As WWII looms, a wealthy widow (Carey Mulligan) hires an amateur archaeologist (Ralph Fiennes) to excavate the burial mounds on her estate. When they make a historic discovery, the echoes of Britain’s past resonate in the face of its uncertain future.
Directed by Simon Stone, based on the novel by John Preston, the film also stars Lily James, Johnny Flynn, Ben Chaplin, and Ken Scott.
The Dig will be shown on selected big screens from January 15th, before landing on Netflix on January 29th, 2021.
