The first trailer for ‘Dune’ has now landed.

The first trailer for the new Dune interpretation has landed.

Based on Frank Herbert’s 1965 science fiction novel of the same name, the film will cover the first part of his book with the hope of a sequel should the film be a commercial success. The remake is billed as a new interpretation of his book, rather than a direct remake of David Lynch’s 1984 film, following a complex story about the son of a noble family entrusted with the protection of the most valuable asset and most vital element in the galaxy.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the film features an all star cast including Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Jason Momoa, Josh Brolin, Charlotte Rampling, Oscar Isaac and Timothée Chalamet.

Despite COVID-19, the film is still set to land in cinemas worldwide in December 2020.
