The show, which is a spin-off from the 2021 film The Suicide Squad, streams from January 13th on HBO Max.
John Cena is joined by Danielle Brooks who portrays Leota Adebayo, a member of Peacemaker’s team who doesn’t agree with his views.
Alongside them is Steve Agee, who reprises his role as John Economos from The Suicide Squad, and Jennifer Holland as Amanda Waller’s aide Emilia Harcourt. Freddie Stroma takes on the role of supervillain Vigilante, Robert Patrick plays Peacemaker’s father Auggie, and Chukwudi Iwuji portrays Clemson Murn.
