NBC/Peacock have released a first-look teaser trailer for the upcoming Saved By The Bell reboot.
In the reboot, California Governor Zack Morris finds himself in trouble for closing too many low-income high schools and then proposing that the affected students be sent to the highest-performing schools in the state — including Bayside High. The influx of new students gives the overprivileged Bayside kids a much-needed dose of reality.
The reboot features returning cast members Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley and Mario Lopez, alongside a new school cast featuring Josie Totah, Dexter Darden, Haskiri Velazquez, Mitchell Hoog and Alycia Pasqual-Pena.
Covid-19 has interrupted the reboots filming, but the series is still set to air later this year.
