‘The Matrix: Resurrections’ gets a new trailer.

HBO have dropped another new trailer for The Matrix: Resurrections.

“The Matrix Resurrections is a continuation of the story established in the first Matrix film… 20 years after the first film, the franchise that helped define pop culture at the turn of the century is back for a continuation and extension of the original movie. A mind-bending new adventure with action and epic scale, it’s set in a familiar yet even more provocative world where reality is more subjective than ever and all that’s required to see the truth is to free your mind”

Franchise stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss headline the sequel, reprising their iconic roles as Neo and Trinity, respectively, with an all-new supporting cast consisting of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Henwick, Christina Ricci, Telma Hopkins, Eréndira Ibarra, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt, Brian J. Smith, Daniel Bernhardt as Agent Johnson, Lambert Wilson as The Merovingian, and Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe.

Lana Wachowski directs the long-awaited sequel, with a screenplay she co-wrote with David Mitchell & Aleksander Hemon.

The film is set to land in theaters worldwide, and on HBO Max, from December 22nd, 2021.
