The sequel to ‘The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’ gets a release update.

Nintendo have just announced that the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been delayed until 2023.

The Legend of Zelda series producer, Eiji Aonuma, announced that development is still ongoing and that the games release has had to be delayed. The trailer also shows us a few seconds of new footage, so expect a few new Zelda theory videos to hit YouTube later in the day.

Whether this delay will coincide with a new Nintendo games system being released at the same remains to be seen, but a dual release on the existing Switch and a new Super Switch wouldn’t come as a surprise to me.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 is now set to land in spring 2023.
